B.E Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering is a four-year course. This Engineering is a program structured to enable the students to identify, analyze and solve problems using the fundamentals of mathematics and engineering sciences with automation. It enables students in advanced mechanical systems by effective production methodologies with industrial automation.
The Manufacturing and Automation program training is divided into two specific concentrations: system design and automation, and intelligent systems. They also learn to define, justify, plan and complete an implementation project involving an existing technology or applied research or development projects.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering
1. The candidates who completed 10+2 in PCM/PCB with 50% minimum marks.
2. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in all combined to be eligible for admission.
3. Candidates must have done undergraduate from a college or a university which has been recognized by UGC i.e. University Grant Commission.
4. Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate score of 45% or more in subjects.

1. Colleges publish notice of admission on their website from June when most Indian universities would have finished degree exams.
2. Candidate to apply for each college, as each college considers each mark the cut-off mark.
3. Some private colleges and deemed universities perform their counselling process by conducting their university-level entrance exams.
4. Some colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
5. Candidates who qualify for the test are called for an interview before the final seat allotment.
6. Some of the entrance exams for BTech are JEE Main, WBJEE, JEE Advanced, KCET etc.
